#3 | Monica Lewinsky turned 50
As I am starting to write this newsletter, I am feeling a rush of positiveness and a longing for better days ahead. I can tell you that it is not a feeling that echoes the month of March for us as it was quite challenging, either from the professional and business standpoint and also on a personal level, where uncertainty and long waits for answers crept into our daily lives. And also...
A moment to (unfortunately) remember
For the past few years, we have been deeply dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the world and in our own way. We do it with our own resources (time, money, reach) and with every paid subscription. This allows us to contribute to causes that matter profoundly to us. This is our pledge.
One of the organisations we have supported through the years is World Central Kitchen, founded by Chef JosΓ© AndrΓ©s. Our last donation was just on 29 February...
Even if our donation wasn't directed to any cause in particular among the several this organisation that feeds people are living food insecurity, we knew it could contribute for their efforts in Gaza.
I was terribly saddened by the awful attack the WCK has suffered and that it killed 7 breve aid workers. Not because their foreigner lives are more important than any Palestinian's enduring insecurity, homelessness, restlessness and hunger but mostly because they were one of the very few organisations on the ground, doing the work, feeding people in dire need. WCK stopping their work will be impactful in a society where hope is vanishing away.
No matter how you are living the news, either by sharing them or not talking about them, obsessing with them or turning a blind eye, be aware that in today's world, things happen and they can happen to us. I so believe in WCK's work and I hope that you find it in your hearts (and pockets) to support them or any organisation you truly believe in. Everybody, even just resharing a post, can make an impact. Think about it. Please.

Here are a few of the things we've loved in the past few weeks:
