We have been to Wholefoods in New York, Marks & Spencer Food in the United Kingdom, Stockmann in Helsinki, El Corte Inglés in Spain and Portugal, Woolworths in South Africa but @apoloniasupermercados in Lagoa remains absolutely unbeatable. People often ask us “but what is so special about it?” Well, where can we start... The wide corridors, the superbly curated range of international and national products, the calmness, how everything is exquisitely tidy, clean, aesthetically pleasing, the first-class service, always with a smile and filled with attentiveness... Also, can we confess we love their green branding? It might have been an inspiration, who knows... 😉 Furthermore we have to admit it has been an additional motivating factor to go back to Algarve for a weekend when we were living in Lisbon, 2h35 away! We always recommend it to our short term rental guests and we go there ourselves pretty often. Here are a few products we can only find at Apolonia and we didn’t hesitate on bringing a few home.
